The annual BBQ cook-off is a 3-day event that takes place during the Dripping Springs Founders day weekend in mid-April. Typically there are approximately 90 teams showing their skills cooking fajitas, chicken, ribs, brisket, chili, salsa and potluck. Come out to try the samples! Teams can also be judged on best pit, best campsite and on original showmanship. A Silent and Live auction are held that have great donated items from businesses in the local area. The Chili Cook Off is a one day event in the fall. There are approximately 30 teams. Chili and salsa are the judged items of the day. Homemade cakes and goodies are at the Cake Wheel of Fortune. A Silent and Live Auction are held that have great donated items from businesses in the local area. And it wouldn’t be fall without a Pumpkin carving contest for all ages.
 

And to thank our members and sponsors, a summer Fish Fry is held and a “members only” Christmas party is also a good time to enjoy friends and home cooked goodies.
