The club was started about twenty years ago between some
friends that had a friendly rivalry for the best barbeque.
With a little planning and support from local businesses,
the small group of cookers got together on a warm sunny
afternoon and began barbequing chicken and asked passers-by to
judge.
With the sunset, the first barbeque cook-off was in the
history books.

Today the club has an outstanding
number of members and cookers. The support from local and
surrounding business has also grown.
With two major events a year,
Founders Day in April and Chili Cook-Off in October, the club
continues its service to the community. |
